For those experimental aircraft builders that are planning on using a ULPower aircraft engine in their homebuilt project- please read on!  This video was filmed for the purpose of demonstrating a professional engine installation of a ULPower fuel injected engine into a Zenith CH650 light sport aircraft. A firewall foreward package from Zenith is featured, however the techniques and procedures shown are applicable to both the CH650 and the CH750 as they share the same firewall.

Observe and understand the special considerations required for installing this fuel injected engine in your aircraft.  The double DVD provides a detailed presentation by Gus Warren explaining the how-to of fabricating the various components and systems involved with this installation. The DVD is divided into various video chapters, providing explanations and demonstrations on:

Unpacking the engine crate and inventory of parts

Mounting the engine to the firewall

Fuel pump module assembly and installation

Installing the voltage regulator and associated wiring

Forming and installing the sheet metal baffle boxes

Oil cooler and oil line installation

Assemby of fuel line/hose fittings

EGT sensor placement and installation on exhaust pipes

Ignition cable fabrication and installation

Throttle cable routing and connection

ECU placement and wiring

Discussion of computer sensors vs. monitoring sensors

Propellor assembly and adjustment

Fitting, trimming of cowling

Using your DVD player's remote control, you are able to quickly navigate to these video chapters for review, as needed.

A modern fuel injected engine like the ULPower requires a fuel system design and implementation that is not familiar to most builders.  The video explains and demonstrates the creation of the required components and plumbing connections that are required.  Fuel pumps, filters, selector switches, and return lines are all discussed for this installation.

Nothing beats watching over someone's shoulder to learn!

This affordable 2 DVD video is approximately 3 hours in length and is divided into various video chapters to make navigation and review of desired sections fast and easy  The $39 price includes handling and first class postage (U.S.). (International orders welcome)
