3 Tools for making Lightening Hole Flanges
Wing ribs and spars throughout the aircraft have lots of lightening holes that need flanges
If you are plans building a metal aircraft, you are aware of the need to flange those large lightening holes found in many components within the skeletal structure of the aircraft. The tools for creating these flanges range from the simple to the specialized.

This week's Tip demonstrates 3 of those tools. You may not be familiar with all of these. Watch and decide for yourself which tool offers the best performance in time and cost. Remember - the tool must accommodate all of the hole sizes you need for your project!
