Builder Tip #82 from HomebuiltHELP
Get yourself a Snake Camera (Endoscope)
(and see things you never saw before!)
The ability to inspect hard-to-see areas of your aircraft makes this tool invaluable!
The endoscope or snake camera provides visual access to areas of your aircraft that are nearly impossible to see. It is the pair of eyes you never had before for use while building, repairing or inspecting.

Surgeons have used these cameras to see inside the human body while performing operations for quite a few years. Technology has now provided a comparable tool at a super low cost for aircraft builders and mechanics.

Used with your smart phone for viewing and recording images, this camera allows you to "snake" through hard to see areas of your aircraft. Looking for a loose fuel connection, a rattling bolt or tracing the motion of cables within the fuselage, this tool will prove itself during construction and maintenance of your aircraft. Of course, there will be a hundred other uses around your house as well!

Watch as we demonstrate the utility of this unique instrument in and around a homebuilt aircraft and explain some of the features we think important.

 Endoscope "snake" camera very affordable!
