Builder Tip #28 from HomebuiltHELP
Fuel Tank Sender options for your Homebuilt

Every fuel tank in our aircraft needs a method of letting us know how much fuel remains.

In this video we review the popular fuel sender options that are available to builders. There are several competing technologies that need to be considered before installing your fuel tanks. We take a look at a couple of mechanical and a couple of electronic models.

In addition to making sure the fuel sender is compatible with your fuel gauge on the panel, the mounting options will dictate the location and size of hole that must be drilled in the tank.

Which is the fastest (VNE), easy to build (and affordable) KIT aircraft available today? !
We have the step by step DVDs that show how the entire aircraft is built!
We do not sell aircraft or take any commissions from manufacturers; we simply make how-to videos showing how they go together!  We try to choose the models that will be successful for the builders - and we have to build the kit first to prove it ourselves.

The ONEX from Sonex is a one person, folding wing, super fast (200+ vne) kit which we have documented in a series of how-to-build DVDs. It was fun and easy to build - and if this kind of aircraft spurs your interest - our DVDs will allow you to evaluate the build process as a first step in your journey to selecting the best aircraft for your needs. Researching the construction challenges for an aircraft is just as important as the demo ride!

Purchase one or all of the Onex DVDs today and start your journey!
